Their original name is “Se” but due to pronunciation difficulties hundreds of years ago, the (occupying) Europeans changed the name from “Se” to “Shai.”  As the Se are advancing into an era of peace, progress, and prosperity, they are returning to their roots and retiring the usage of the term Shai for the historically correct term, Se.

The history of SE is a fascinating story of perseverance and resilience.  The Se have often overcome great obstacles on their path to success.  Their history bodes of ancient ties to Israel; wars against opportunistic intruders and is a backdrop for a people of destiny, as the Se promise to follow their visionary leader into Peace, Progress and Prosperity in the 21st Century and beyond.
